My tarot cards feel lighter.

Granted, I don't take care of my cards, they're the Vertigo tarot cards, and they just stay on top of my table in their dark velvet pouch but other than that they're terribly exposed. It's been at least 2 months since I last used them but I did sleep with the deck under my pillow to get them recharged so to speak

The pack is complete, though. So... Or maybe it's just me. Hmm, Constantine, are you screwing with me?

...'sup, LJ? It's been ages. I'm 26 years old now. Had my birthday with my sister in Singapore last August 22. Pictures and proper narration (lol) are coming up. I'm just generally bad with keeping my life in check, so I forget.

They say that I am the spitting image of my mother when she was younger. If only I wasn't fat ^^; Now it's my sister that's getting all the mother-daughter comparisons.

But I say this, because it seems I've also inherited my mother's intense migraines. I wasn't able to get out of bed for work earlier. Seems like I'll have more pills to swallow in the mornings.

My weekend was good. Went to Olongapo to visit a family friend, then we all went to Bolinao, Pangasinan for some beach times.

Woke up very early for nothing earlier. Was v. irritated for the rest of the day. Ergh. I'll sleep this off later.

I love my new default icon. Audrey Kawasaki's girls all might look the same, but... I like all of their haunted looks that way. Along with the sensual way that they look, peering out of their half-lidded eyes.

[ To know the difference between a geiko and an oiran, look at their hair ornaments. A geiko or even a maiko will have fewer hair ornaments than an oiran will. Also, an oiran will have her obi tied in front as opposed to its usual position at the back. I'm... still a bit vague on the differences between oiran and geiko, but Wiki tells me that the oiran predated the geiko. More readings are needed. ]

My college barkada taught me the art of patiently digging through the bookpiles in Booksale and Books for Less to find good books, odd books and the books that I want at prices that were way, waaay cheaper than the brand-new ones. Sure, the books are yellowing, have a few pages creased and/or loose from their binding, but as long as they're still readable, I'm all for it.

I've lost count of how much of my current books are all from Booksale, but my last (... way back in September, unfortunately) acquisitions were The Chronicles of Chrestomanci vol. 1 & Watership Down.

It was really lame of me, but I just recently discovered that Avalon.ph is also selling second-hand books online (aside from their Moleskines~ ♥). And after clicking on Pao's plurk about the books he wanted from the site, I immediately followed...

It's just a few songs though, and for the life of me I cannot remember all of them right now ;__; My memory's really been crap for the past couple of years now.

... not much in the way of answers, I'm afraid. But ahahaha, missing Poly all over again ^^ MARIANNE I MISS YOUR LUCIFER o/ (along with Brad's Harry, A.R.'s Evey, Ruxi's BEST ROSIEL EVAR, Mary's Faye, THE WHOLE SANDMAN CREW, etc, etc, etc.) And this has also reminded me that I'm such a bad rp-er these past few months. Well, other than work eating me alive and such, but in the sense that it has been a long time since I have finished a thread. orz.

Iiiiiin other news, my sister gave me a Vivitar ultra wide & slim camera, along with 4 color and 2 black & white film rolls last Christmas ♥ Already took some shots of our photoshoot in Malacañan Palace earlier. I'm going to spend the rest during my godson Wolf's first birthday party this Saturday :3 I can't wait~
